Washington Irving Elementary School had its annual science fair recently and retired Southeastern chemistry professor Dr. Gordon Eggleton was one of the judges. Washington Irving Science Fair award winners are in no particular order, first and second grade, physical science: First place, Jonah Jackson, second place, Emrie Lindley, and third place, Lauralyn Hull.
