Miller earns GAC Defensive Player of the Week

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern’s Courtney Miller has been named the Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week following her performance in SE’s wins over Southern Nazarene and Henderson State last week.

Miller totaled 28 digs – for an average of 4.67 per set – as the Savage Storm picked up a pair of GAC victories. In Southeastern’s sweep against Southern Nazarene, she recorded a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs.

In Saturday’s sweep against Henderson State, she added 15 digs, plus a pair of blocks.

The Storm has one more GAC matchup when it travels to Southwestern Oklahoma State on Nov. 14 for a 7 p.m. match.
