Your local library is adding something new to its holiday celebrations.

The Donald W. Reynolds Community Center and Library will host a three-day holiday craft show this coming Thursday through Saturday (Dec. 5-7).

“This is a craft sale for our community with the purpose of raising funds to help support our local library,” states an information sheet prepared by Friends of the Library (FOL). “The Friends of the Library organization has contributed to the library by raising money to help provide shelves, art work, databases, nursing home books, and a children’s summer reading program. We have a desire to help support the library and to better serve our patrons and community.”

Fred Hallman, himself an active member of FOL, donated supplies for wooden Santas which were deocrated by other members of the library loving group. This year’s snowmen were crafted from recycled food cans donated by Choctaw Nation Recycling. FOL members also donated craft supplies and served as artisans.

Vendors will offer handmade crafts, unique gift items, jewelry, high quality resale as well as holiday candy and fudge.

Vendors will be set up in the Black Box Theatre (behind the library’s Iron Gate Cafe) while special presentations will be held in the library foyer. Vendors are encouraged to set up their booths on Wednesday (Dec. 4) from noon to 7 p.m.

Here is a list of events to be held during the Library Holiday Craft Show:
