Three people have been charged in connection with investigations that began with the disappearance of prescription medication from the White Hall Police Department.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department began its investigation about a month ago and soon began a second investigation involving Roodhouse Police Department employees.

Greene County State’s Attorney Caleb Briscoe said he has filed formal charges against Amanda Morrow, Michele Stewart and Steven Settles after reviewing the information provided by the sheriff’s department.

Morrow is a dispatcher with the White Hall Police Department, according to a city directory, and a Steven Settles is listed as a sergeant with the Roodhouse Police Department on its website. Information was not immediately available about Stewart.

Details are developing.
