The Mary Quisenberry Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to announce that their Junior American Citizens Chairman, Judy Polson, was notified that several Durant students were winners in the 2017 Oklahoma State Junior American Citizens’ Contest. State winners were recognized at the Honors and Awards Program at the Oklahoma State Daughters of the Revolution State Conference on April 21 in Norman. State Winners’ entries moved on to District Competition which included all first place State Winners from Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. The Junior American Citizen Winners will be locally recognized at the Mary Quisenberry Chapter Meeting on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Family Life Center in Durant.
