Texoma Educators Federal Credit Union (TEFCU) will be hosting a Community Appreciation Day from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, May 19. TEFCU wants to show their appreciation to the community for their continued growth and support.
Founded in 1957, TEFCU is a unique financial institution made up of sponsoring or partnering organizations. It has continued to grow and prosper into the leading credit union in the area. The credit union is member owned and operated. When you become a member, you become one of its owners and you share in the credit union’s success. “Our members are our family,” said Mrs. Louella Williams, President. “It is our goal to provide personal assistance and protect their assets.”
TEFCU is open to all members of the community. “We decided to move from education based membership to community based a few years ago. All persons living in Atoka, Bryan, Marshall, and Grayson counties can take part in our credit union,” Williams said.
As a token of their appreciation to the community they serve, TEFCU will be handing out free hot dogs, giving away tickets to Six Flags Over Texas, and prizes at the event.
“We invite everyone to stop by and see TEFCU is all about. Our doors are always open and we are here to serve the community with all of their financial needs,” Williams said.
