I Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
This passage of scripture comes from the time when the Ark of the Covenant of God was brought back into the midst of the Children of Israel. David was king and the Bible says that he blessed the people in the name of the Lord. It also goes on to say that David delivered his first psalm to thank the Lord into the hand of Asaph.
We are so blessed by God each and every day.
We as a people of a nation that was born to serve God and to follow God’s statutes need to return to our first love. We are moving into the week of Thanksgiving and we as children of God need to worship Him for his protection and for his love. God is so good to His people.
When we start our day let us be mindful of God’s love and his mercy toward his people. Let us give thanks unto the Lord.
