The Durant Lions and Broken Bow battled it out in a friendly scrimmage game on Thursday night at Paul Laird Field. The Lions first teamers looked like they were ready to hit someone else. The defense forced four fumbles and recovered three. The offense was led quarterback Zac Cater. He made two big passes down the field, one was a bomb to Jalen Harris that set up a touchdown pass to Brandon Maynard. The Lions are getting ready for it’s season opener, on the road, against Poteau on Sept. 6.
