Bryan County children learned the art of pastry-making at 4-H day camp last week, honing their skills on chicken pot pie and peach flan.

Children learned how to handle homemade dough, make their own crusts and follow recipes to create themselves a lunch complete with dessert.

The next educational event will be conducted in Ardmore. Children will attend workshops that will focus on nutritional needs for three species of livestock.

For registration or other information about the 4-H summer day camps, contact OSU Extension Services at (580) 924-5312.
