One local teen will be competing in the Miss Oklahoma USA / Teen USA pageant this winter.
Durant eighth-grade student Malorie Stick will be competing as Miss Durant in the competition that will be held Dec. 19 through 21 in Norman.
She will compete in swimsuit, evening gown and personal interview competitions. The pageant has two age divisions and winners will go on to represent our state in the 2015 Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageant.
Malorie is the daughter of Jeremy and Teisha Stick. She plays soccer in the Durant Soccer League and enjoys swimming, snorkeling and hanging out with friends in her free time.
Malorie will be one of the youngest to ever compete in the Miss Teen Oklahoma Pageant. She is very interested in social causes such as preservation of wildlife and animal rights.
She is being sponsored by Indian Nation Wholesale, The Kopper Kettle, Dr. BM Cuesta, Chickasaw Nation and Farmers Insurance (Larry Wills).
Malorie’s sponsors and the city of Durant would like to wish Malorie lots of luck.
