A Durant man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Mead, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Sixty-four-year-old Randy Hamilton was taken by Bryan County EMS to AllianceHealth where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to OHP, the crash happened at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highway 70 and Leavenworth Trail Road. Hamilton was riding a motorcycle westbound on Highway 70 when 56-year-old Kendall Nagorski of Durant, who was also riding a motorcycle, failed to yield when he turned left onto Highway 70 from Leavenworth Trail Road. Nagorski’s motorcycle struck Hamilton’s cycle.
Nagorski was taken to AllianceHealth where he was listed in stable condition.
Neither rider wore helmets, according to Trooper James Reinecker’s report. Trooper Kyle Ince, Bryan County EMS, West Bryan County Fire Department and the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
