My name is Ashley”Mo” Crawford and I’m 26. What prompted me to start my change was my son who is 7.
He is active in basketball and soccer. I couldn’t keep up with him anymore, I was out of breath and would rather lie on the couch than spend time with my son.
I started off my lifestyle change by taking an afternoon boot camp class with Elicia Marquez, she is a personal trainer at Nautilus and travels around training clients.
She is so motivating and inspirational. Elicia has inspired so many individuals to change and better themselves. She is a great athlete and role model.
I started taking her morning classes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5:30 a.m. When taking these classes, I met a group of ladies who have become a great support system with amazing stories of their own.
We are all so different but our goals are so much alike. We are nurses, hair stylists, stay at home moms, store managers, bankers, full time students, and photographers.
We meal prep weekly, share ideas on food, we are clean eaters. No fast food, nothing processed, nothing fried. Abs are made in the kitchen.
We all support each other. We run races in the community and travel for outside events.
We run the streets of Durant in yellow safety vests in the mornings before the sun comes up. So watch out for us! We are at the gym for 2 hours every morning, and we love it.
Now I can play sports with my son. He even comes to the gym with me. He runs with me, we are extremely active and he loves it.
