The Choctaw Nation held its annual princess pageant last week. Emcees Phillip and Lisa Billy introduced each of the Nation’s district princesses as they vied for the chance to represent the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma throughout the next year.


Congratulations to Little Miss Kyra Wilson of District 9 (Bryan County), Junior Miss Summer Moffitt of District 8 and this year’s Miss Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Nikki Amos of District 2.


In the Little Miss division, first runner up is Kaylin Kindred, District 10, and second runner-up is Savannah Herndon, District 8.


Junior Miss first runner up is Emily Rowell, District 2, and second runner up is Breanna Jefferson.


The first runner up for Miss Choctaw Nation is LaTisa Davidson, District 7, and second runner-up in Kanda Jackson, District 10.


The Princess Pageant kicked off the five-day festival at the Choctaw Nation Capitol Grounds, Tvshka Homma.
