Jeremiah 33:11

“The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice the bridegroom, the voice of the bride the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good, for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord.”

The voice of joy, of gladness, of the bridegroom, of the bride. The voice. We all have a voice and it is up to us how we choose to use it. We can use our voice to give praise to the Lord or we can use our voice to give praise to the devil. It is all in our voice. Jeremiah here said these voices shall praise the Lord and with the voice they will proclaim that the Lord is good.

The lLord is a merciful god and we as Christians should offer that sacrifice of praise in the house of our God. Praise and worship, not just with our voice, but with our whole heart, all of our being should praise His name.

In the book of Revelation it says that there are created beings in heaven that say “Holy, Holy is the Lord,” continuously. We have a lot more to praise God for than the angels which are in Heaven for we have been bought with the precious blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross.

When you think about all that God has done for you, is it so hard to just lift up your hands and praise him? Let our voice ring out for Jesus our Savior and Lord. Lift up your voice and rejoice and praise Him who is worthy to be praised.
