Big games are on tap this week for Bryan County basketball.

New rankings have been released by ossaarankings.com, with the Durant Lions (6-10) holding firm at No. 19 in Class 5A boys rankings. This Tuesday night they host 3A No. 11 Hugo (14-7).

Silo (No. 12 in 2A at 16-5) dropped two places since last week. The Rebels will visit Atoka (No. 8 in 3A at 14-3) on Tuesday night.

Kingston (No. 18 in 3A at 12-5) and Tushka (No. 16 in 2A at 19-3) did not move in the rankings. Wapanucka (17-2) dropped one place to No. 12 in Class B.

On the girls side, a couple of teams inexplicably dropped in the rankings despite winning their games last week.

Caddo slipped to No. 5 in Class A despite a 17-0 record. Pond Creek-Hunter jumped ahead with an 18-0 mark.

The Lady Bruins will host No. 2 Kiowa (18-3) this Tuesday in their biggest challenge of the season so far. On Thursday, Caddo visits Caney, who dropped to No. 16 in Class B despite maintaining their status as the team with the fewest losses in all of Class B basketball at 20-1.
