The Caddo Lady Bruins clenched the Bryan County Conference title Tuesday night with an impressive 84-29 win over Calera.
Sharp-shooting seniors Shelby Dellinger, Julie Layton and Tobi Miller combined for fifteen 3-pointers in the win. Caddo improves to 19-1 on the season and is currently the 5th ranked Class A team in the state.
Dellinger led the Lady Bruins with 20 points and 8 steals; Miller and Layton scored 19 and 18 points respectively; Alli Adair finished the game with 11 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists. Dessiree Haugen scored 10 for the Lady Bruins and Maddie Graves, Nikki Haugen, and Emily Rard each had 2 points in the win. The Caddo Bruins lost to the Bulldogs 56-45 in the late game.
District play begins this weekend with a trio of Bryan County teams competing at Caddo. Achille and Rock Creek girls will play in an elimination game Friday with the winner facing Caddo for the championship Saturday night. Caddo and Achille boys will play Friday night and the winner will play Rock Creek for the District title on Saturday.
