“The girls played very well today. It’s early in the year, but I’m proud of the way we are playing. All of our girls are very solid players and we are going to be tough to beat this year.” said coach Josh Michael, “My #1 doubles team of Christina Gomes and Ryan Schuessler has been a very solid team this year. They are two sophmores that have state semi-final potential. Our stand our player from the tournament on the girls side was Rachel Routledge. She was awesome. See cruised her way to the finals and easy took 1st place.”

Boys placed 2nd as a team: #1 Singles Jordan Michael 2nd place; #2 Singles Garrett Reddout 2nd place; #1 Doubles James Donelan and Ryan Tran 4th place; #2 Doubles Triston Michael and Wade Peterson 1st place Champions won the finals 2-6,6-0,6-4.

“We just got a few of our keys players back from basketball so we are trying to work them back slowly into the mix. When they get back at full strength we will be a stronger team. We competed hard yesterday and that’s all I can ever ask for.” said coach Josh Michael, “Jordan Michael and Garrett Reddout are absolute warriors on the court. They also fight so hard and I’m always proud of them win or lose. Our standout team yesterday was our #2 Doubles team of Triston Michael and Wade Peterson. They had an awesome tournament winning the Championship 2-6,6-0, and coming back from behind to take the third set 6-4.”
