The Silo Rebels baseball team is currently sitting at the top in Class 2A rankings with an 8-1 record.
The Rebels are at the Seminole Tourney that ran from Thursday through Saturday. The Rebels had a twin-bill on Thursday. They beat Cleveland and Konawa by the same score, 10-0.
Silo’s Andrew Bolin and Lance House both hit home runs against Konawa. Jarris Hamilton went 3-for-3, Leonard Sandler went 2-for-3. Kendall Shives got the win in relief.
Shives also got the win as the starter in the game against Cleveland. He pitched a complete game and stuck-out four batters. Bolin and Sandler both hit doubles and went 2-for-3. House, Hamilton and Shives all went 2-for-3. Hunter Jackson hit a double and went 2-for-3.
There are also other Bryan County baseball teams that are highly ranked in Class 2A. Tushka is ranked 4th with a 13-1 record. Colbert is ranked 5th with a 13-4 record and Calera is ranked 6th with an undefeated record of 13-0. In Class A Rock Creek has a 5-4 record and is ranked 12th and Caddo rounds out the rankings at 20th with a 3-4 record.
