Southeastern Oklahoma State University fans will have two opportunities to check out the Savage Storm football team this spring at Paul Laird Field. The first coincides with SE Student Night at 7 p.m. today, and the second is slated for 9:30 a.m. April 12 for Friends and Family Day.
The scrimmages will feature a Blue vs. White format and will give fans the opportunity for a peek into the 2014 football season, the first under new head coach Bo Atterberry.
Both games are free to attend.
Tonight’s will feature several promotions aimed at students and community fans.
The top prize to be given away is a new television. SE students are eligible for the prize and must be present to win it.
All fans are eligible for free T-shirts to be handed out to the first 100 fans who arrive at the event, with vouchers for shirts being handed out starting at 6:15 p.m.
There will be additional giveaways throughout the night and a “State of the Football Program” by Atterberry.
The final opportunity, starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday as Friends and Family Day, will feature children’s games hosted by Southeastern’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee alongside the football scrimmage.
