ATHENS, Texas - At the Golden Years Rope for the Cash and Prizes III, winning the average and setting the pace for the rest of the pack was the drawpot team of Mike Bailey and Mike Collier, roping three steers in 23.94, and pocketing $5,000, Custom Gist Buckles, and USTRC National Shootouts.

But Mike & Mike weren't done yet, they also roped together as pick partners placing ninth in the average.

That is one team getting it done all day.

That was enough for Mike Collier to be the high point heeler, not winning the trailer, for an additional $1,000.

When the dust settled on Friday afternoon, the man of the day and High Point Roper of the day was the Assistant Chief of the Choctaw Nation, Mr. Mike Bailey from Durant winning a CM 2-Horse slant fully wrapped trailer.
