Bea (Walters) Hunter, 66, Durant, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, as results from complication of years of smoking. Services will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at the Family Worship Center, Durant, with Rev. Troy McCrory officiating.

Bea was born May 11, 1942, in Galena, Mo., to Delmar and Edith Arlene (Williams) Clevenger. She married Ira (Sonny) Hunter on Feb. 14, 2003, in The Colony, Texas. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hunter was a member of the Family Worship Center in Durant. She was known as the “Little Gal with the Oxygen Tank” that ran the Family Worship Center’s clothing closet.

Bea is preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth Walters; grandson Justin Walters; brothers Bill Clevenger, George Clevenger and Dale Clevenger; and sisters Betty Reece and Wilma Clevenger.

She is survived by her husband, Durant; sons Jim Walters, Durant, Robert Walters and wife Cindy, Ft. Myers, Fla., Joe Walters, Durant, Kenny Walters and wife Dianne and Tommy Walters and wife Rachel, all of Wylie, Texas; daughter Marcella Kennemer and husband Houston, Durant; grandchildren Robby Walters, Arlington, Texas, Joshua Walters and Donnie Walters, both of Cold Spring, Texas, Summer Hanna, Lake Dallas, Texas, Ashley Walters, Ft. Myers, Fla., Caleb Walters, Wylie, Texas, Montana Kennemer, Durant and Hannah Walters, Wylie Texas; brother Larry Clevenger and wife Sharron, West Virginia; sisters Leola Zook, Mt. Vernon, Mo.; Barbara Mayfield and husband Don, Festus, Mo., Judy Jackson and husband Eddie, Ottawa, Kan., Reva Newman and husband Don, Mt. Vernon, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Little Elm Cemetery, Little Elm, Texas. Pallbearers will be Mike Whittington, Don Knopes, Anthony Stephens, Dale Randolph, Sammy McAdams and Kevin Carlock.
