A service was at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist Church for Bobby G. Holloway, 77, Bokchito, who died Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at his residence. Rev. Anthony Williams officiated.

He was born March 16, 1929, in Drumwright to Les and Retha Dominick Holloway. He was raised near Benninton around the Cade area. He married Armeda Brown May 27, 1950, Durant. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1950 aboard the SS Mindora. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a deacon at the Big Springs Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Bokchito. He enjoyed making people laugh, hunting deer, farming and gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He had a strong Christian faith and served God in his daily life. He worked as a quality control manager at Intercontinental MFG in Garland, Texas. He retired after 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother L.H. Holloway.

He is survived by his wife of Bokchito; daughter Cindy Lee and husband Glenn, Garland, Texas; son Hugh Holloway and wife Sherry, Bokchito; granddaughter Tammy Oehlke and husband Jason, Sachse, Texas; grandsons David Lee and wife Wendy, Garland, Texas, Jay Holloway, Sachse, Texas; great-grandchildren Colton and Lexi Oehlke and Savannah Lee; sisters June Pardue and Pat Young, both of Bokchito; brothers Jim Holloway, Richardson, Texas, Danny Holloway, Bennington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial was in Bokchito Cemetery with pallbearers Jim Holloway, Danny Holloway, David Lee, Mike Williams, Duane Holloway, Jason Oehlke and Arkie Scott.
