Durant Fire Marshal Lisa Jackson retired last week after 22 years of service to the city. Chief Roger Joines presented her with a bracelet, placed on her wrist by daughter Nicole Jackson. Lisa presented the firefighters a special plaque to be placed on the firehouse wall, thanking them for encouragement and leadership and saying, "That's why I smile all the time, look at the people I work with. I care very much for the city of Durant."
