Local winners of the Elks Soccer Shootout will be advancing to the Mid-America Soccer Shoot this weekend.
Durant Elks Lodge hosted the Soccer Shootout on Oct. 13 at the Multi-Sports Complex. Seven advanced to the state competition which was held on Oct. 21 in Shawnee.
Out of these seven, two are advancing to the Mid-America Soccer Shoot in El Dorado, Kan., to be held this coming Sunday. Das Chapman will represent the under-12 group and Triston Smith will represent the under-8 group at the competition.
Jerry Mowles and Steve Williamson from the Durant Elks Lodge will proudly accompany these winners to Kansas.
