Gary Eugene Miller, 70, of Caddo passed away on January 14, 2013 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1942 in Dallas, TX to Fred Eugene and Irma Lee (Moran) Miller. Gary lived in Bryan County most of his life. He attended school at Matoy, Caddo, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University and was a computer technician. He married Martha Sue Hallmark on December 22, 1962 in Andalusia, AL. He was a member of the Caddo First United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and grandson Roger Halford.
He is survived by his wife Martha Sue Miller of the home, daughters; Tammy Miller and significant other Jerry Jernigan of Durant and Lori Hicks and husband Johnny of Caddo, brother Tim Miller and wife Cathy of Caddo, grandchildren; Zoe Bergland of Durant, Tasha Jasper and husband Matt of Durant, Adrian Hicks of Caddo, Miranda Hicks, Aaron Hicks, Avery Hicks, Jesse Hicks, Peter Hicks, Anna Hicks, Luke Hicks, Kitti Hicks, and Jaxon Hicks all of Caddo, great grandchildren; Kaden Halford, Taryn Bergland, and Jase Bergland all of Durant, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Bro. Monty Wood and Bro. Mack Chambers will be officiating with interment at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo. Family hour will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 6-7:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Dan Hull, Jim Miller, Joe Barrett, Aaron Hicks, Gary Forbis, and Adrian Hicks. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, OK.
