An accident on Lake Texoma Sunday morning left two people injured. At 10:45 a.m. Sunday September 2, two Sea-Doo Personal Watercrafts collided just south of the Roosevelt Bridge.
The first craft was driven by 14 year old, Baylee Green. Green had one passenger Antonio Martinez, 19 years old, riding with her.
Green collided with another craft driven by 35-year-old Andrew Paris. Paris also had a passenger, David Olivio, 22 years old.
Accord to OHP reports, the two crafts were traveling northwest approximately 75 yards away from each other when Green cut power to her craft and made a left turn into Paris’ path.
Paris’ craft hit Green’s on the front right side propelling both Green and Martinez off of the craft. Paris and Olivio sustained no injuries.
Reports said both Green and Martinez were transported by air to the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Both sustained leg injuries and are in stable condition.
Reports indicated that there was no alcohol involved. The accident was investigated by Troopers Greg Williams and Danny Chaffin of the Marine Enforcement Division.
