A Sherman, Texas, man was seriously injured early Monday morning in an accident the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said was alcohol related.

Kody K. Snow, 24, was flown by air ambulance to Plano Medical Center, Plano, Texas, where he is being treated for head and trunk injuries. His condition was not known at the time of the OHP report.

According to the patrol, Snow as driving his vehicle at at 2:30 a.m. on a county road one mile north of Hendrix when he lost control for an unknown reason, left the roadway to the right and overturned one-half time before striking a pipe fence.

The driver had an odor of alcohol, according to Trooper Colby Murray’s report, and DUI was listed as the cause of the crash. Snow was not wearing a seat belt.
