Mason Lane Barfield, the precious newborn son of Jakeb and Jeannie Barfield, of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed from this life in Durant, Oklahoma into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, August 30, 2012. He was surrounded by his family. Mason will always be remembered by all who loved him.
Mason is survived by his parents, Jakeb and Jeannie Barfield and brothers, Davin and Zane Barfield of the home; aunts and uncles include; Deanna Craig of Houston, Texas, Brandy Farrington of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Dan and Crystal Arnold of Ft. Worth, Texas and Nicholas and Sebrina Arnold of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Daniel and Jaci Bates of Calera, Oklahoma, Jay and Sasha Barfield of Bennington, Oklahoma and Jaelin Barfield of Bennington, Oklahoma; grandparents, Ken and Jan Barfield of Bennington, Oklahoma and Allen and Helen Thompson of Denison, Texas; great-grandparents, Wes and Maudell Barfield of Bennington, Oklahoma, J.C. and Ruth Gadberry of Stringtown, Oklahoma and Ruby Stephens of Durant, Oklahoma; numerous cousins, great aunts, great uncles and family friends.
Mason was preceded in death by his Papaw, Dannie Kay Arnold; Memaw, Wanda Lou Barfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Roger Speers officiating. Interment will follow at Old Church in Bennington, Oklahoma. Honorary pallbearers are Davin Stanley and Zane Barfield.
