More rain equaled more cancellations Wednesday. Now both of the fastpitch and Class B Fall Baseball State Tournaments have been moved back to Friday.

The latest on the Caney Cougars in the B baseball semifinals was that they would now play the latter of the two semifinal games. Roff and Tupelo open Friday at noon at Dolese Park in Oklahoma City. The title game will be 30 minutes after Caney’s game with Red Oak.

The Colbert Lady Leopards, playing in the 2A fastpitch state tournament will also cap the semifinals. Healdton and Konowa open at 4 p.m., followed by Colbert and Drumright.

The Class 2A title game is not scheduled until 1 p.m. Saturday.
