Mrs. Marilyn Frances McClure, age 61, Denison, Texas, passed away on August 7, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas.
Mrs. McClure was born on June 4, 1951 to N. B. McClure, Jr. and Verna Lee Stokes in Durant, Oklahoma.
Mrs. McClure graduated from Denison High School and worked in healthcare as a caregiver. She was a lifetime resident of this area and loved animals, and was creative in crafts and needle art. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Kathy Sturch & husband Ernest of Durant and one brother, James (Mackey) McClure & wife Carol of Denison, Texas. She has one grandchild, Ariel Copeland and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Shay Copeland.
Memorial services for Mrs. McClure are set for Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Funeral Services Chapel, 4312 W. Crawford St. Denison, Texas, with Ernest Sturch officiating.
A visitation time will be held on Friday, August 10th from 10:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Chapel.
Interment at Cedarlawn Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
