Peggy Lou Alsup, 59, of Calera passed away September 28, 2012 at her home. She was born on March 25, 1953 in Lubbock, TX to Alvin and Mary (Guffey) Styles. She attended school at Lubbock High School and went on to finish a one year bookkeeping/accounting class. She and Leon Kent Beal have been together for 38 years. Peggy was a housewife and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed computers, cards, and loved being with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father Alvin Styles.

She is survived by her significant other, Leon Beal of the home, son Alvin Zachary of Texas, daughters; Mary Hiett and husband Kenneth of Texas, Misty Rendleman and husband Craig of Texas and Amy Garrett and husband Paul of Arkansas, sisters; Betty Jo Weed and husband Ira of Texas, Louise Christick and husband Jim of Michigan, Linda Bardin and husband James of Texas and Gevena Smith and husband Danny of Texas, brother Allan Styles and wife Yvonne of Texas, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00AM in Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant, OK. Condolences may be sent to www.brownsfuneralservice.com
