Shannon O’Harrah, 62, proud Marine and two purple heart holder, also retired USPS employer of the Durant, Ok. post office, passed away on August, 28 2012.
He is survived by his wife Peg O’Harrah. Daughters: Jennifer, Jenny, Meghann, Katherine. Sister: Susan. Step-son: Jeff and step-father Richard. Per his request, no services will be held. Condolences may be sent to the family at 9176 Buckaloo Bend Road, Kingston, Ok. 73439.
Some say that he could be a difficult person... even arrogant, to some level. But if is how you knew him, you can consider yourself damn lucky!
My grandmother, Sarah Mitchell, Shannon's mother, passed away earlier this year, and with Shannon's passing, I lost two people that showed me what honesty means, and oh, so much more.
I miss them both very, very much, as they both took a part of me... of my very soul... But they replaced it with something better:
Love, and the conviction to be who I am and the knowledge that it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks of you... except for you.
'Uncle Shannon... G'ma... I love you both, very much, and I will miss you for the rest of the time I'm here. I promise that I'll do my best to make you both proud...
