When some students in Caddo reported that they had flu-like symptoms over the weekend, many parents and students feared that the H1N1 flu had hit Caddo.
Because of the H1N1 scare, close to 100 students stayed home Monday, Caddo Superintendent Richard Thomas said.
Only a small amount of the students absent were sick. Several students have the common flu, but none of them have the H1N1 virus, he said.
Thomas reported that enrollment is up today.
A call to the Bryan County Health Department was not returned by press time.
