The second weekly winner of the Durant Main Street Shopping Spree is Dewayne Posey of Mead. Mr. Posey made his purchase and received his tickets from Count Your Blessings in downtown Durant. This week’s sponsor of the prize of a Brighton watch was Marie’s. Thursdays are double ticket day. You will receive two tickets for every $10 that is spent with a participating merchant. Participating merchants will have a Christmas tree displayed in their windows to indicate their participation in the Shopping Spree. On Tuesday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. on the Market Square Stage will be the big drawing for $2,000 prize money. Remember to shop in Durant.
