The Victory Life Academy’s Eagle Field will be the next stop on start-up Canadian’s barnstorming tour Friday night. Canadian is 2-2, coming off a 42-22 win over Midway.
“This is their first year to have a team. They aren’t in a district but next year they should be in a class with us,” said VLA coach Tim Wigington.
There was no film exchange before the game, but Wigington isn’t taking his opponent lightly.
“I hear they’re pretty athletic,” said Wigington. “We’re expecting a very competitive game.”
The Eagles will have running back Shelby Stiles back for the first time in several weeks.
VLA enters the game at 2-3 coming off an emotional 26-20 win over Mountain-View Gotebo.
