Lighthouse Church and Canaan Bound to perform Music on Market Square

Everyone is invited to the outdoor stage at First and Evergreen on Thursday, June 14, at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy gospel music performed by the Lighthouse Church and Canaan Bound.

The Lighthouse Church, located in Colbert, began four years ago. They have been blessed with a lot of kids that love the Lord and love to sing!

Canaan Bound is a gospel trio from Denison, Texas. They have committed their lives to serving God and sharing their faith through their singing. The group consist of Dale and Sue Kennington and Ruth Ledbetter. Ruth’s husband, Larry, travels with them as their sound technician. Canaan Bound was created in May 2004 with a promise to God that they were willing to go wherever God opened the door. They feel truly blessed by the opportunities He has given them to share His word through song to both small and large groups.

Canaan Bound are members of Southern Gospel Music Association of Texas (SGMA); Gospel Music Artists Association (GMAA); and 4-States Gospel Music Association.

The weekly Thursday night concerts are free, and attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs to enjoy a stress-free time in downtown Durant. For more information, contact Durant Main Street at 580-924-1550
