Tables were set up at City Hall for volunteers to donate blood.
On Thursday, the annual City of Durant vs. Bryan County blood drive was held at the Durant City Hall Council Chambers. City Manager Jim Dunegan and District 3 County Commissioner Jay Perry have a challenge that is based upon percentage of participation with the “loser” wearing a T-shirt that says, “The City (or County) gives more” supporting the Oklahoma Blood Institute. Dunegan previously said, “We’re in this together – whoever wins or loses, it’s going to be a good day.”
