Union Pacific to upgrade railroad crossing on Main Street
Main Street in Durant from First Avenue to Malone Street at the Union Pacific railroad crossing will be closed from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday, Durant/Bryan County Emergency Management announced. Union Pacific will be upgrading the Main Street crossing and motorists will have to detour around the construction area. The closing will be for Thursday only. Drivers are reminded to slow down and watch for construction workers.
