Tomato truck causes mess in calera
No injuries occurred in a semi-truck accident that occurred at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday in Calera.
The semi-truck, carrying approximately 35,000 pounds of tomatoes, was traveling northbound on Highway 69/75 when the driver lost control of the wheel and the semi turned on its side.
The semi was traveling in the right hand, slow lane moving north when the driver said he noticed he was going off of the road.
