The Savage Storm football team will play an 11-game schedule starting in September, including six home games and five on the road. It isn’t easy to get appointed to the Air Force Academy. Last year, there were over 12,000 applicants of which 2,331 were deemed qualified and only 1,035 applicants were admitted to the Air Force equivalent of the Army’s West Point.
