Q: Tell us about yourself

MF: My name is Maksim Fil. I’m a senior from Minsk, Belarus. I play tennis and my major is recreation.

Q: Why did you choose to play at Southeastern?

MF: I chose Southeastern because I was really amazed by what the tennis program has done in the past years and I wanted to be a part of the success in the future.

Q: What do you like best about SE?

MF: A couple of things I really like about Southeastern is the friendship I’ve built with the tennis guys. I’m really happy with the people that work in the athletic department that help us improve every day in the classroom and on the tennis court.

Q: What are your hobbies outside of tennis?

MF: In my free time, I like to hang to hand out with my friends and play soccer and basketball.

Q: What are your plans after graduation?

MF: After I graduate I would like to become a professional tennis coach.
