At Kingston
Both Caddo squads opened their seasons on the right foot, as they swept Kingston on the road.
Girls
The Lady Bruins won by a score of 64-55, while the Bruins won convincingly, 75-42.
Chelsey Pilkilton led the Lady Bruins in scoring with 22, while Tobi Miller contributed 19 in the win. Chelsea Baggs was also in double figures, scoring 12 points. Caroline Joines, Shelby Dellinger, and Maggie Back had 7,5 and 2 points respectively.
For the Lady Redskins, Sabrina Slatton scored 17 points while Tara McGahey had 10 in the loss.
Boys
The Bruins had no problems putting away the Redskins, winning 75-42 to open their season, which many think could be a state championship year.
Clayton Childree scored 23 points in the win. Peyton Joines and Konar Hall both contributed in the win, scoring 15 and 10 respectively.
Caddo will host Silo Friday night in a big conference tilt.
At Stonewall
The Lady Mustangs were unable to pull out a victory, losing 42-30 to Stonewall.
The Lady Mustangs’ downfall came in the fourth quarter, where they could only score four points compared to Stonewall’s 15.
Devyn Johnson led the Lady Mustangs with 12 points. Raylee Mitchell pitched in seven points, while Halie Heflin had five. Harlie Heflin, Brianna Akins, and Krislan Winnett each had two points.
