Virgina Faye McLarry, 73, passed away on April 3, 2004. She was born in Norman, Oklahoma on July 25, 1930, to Earl Kipling Mayo and Maxie Viola Cash.

"Jennie" is survived by her two children, Linda McLarry Grimes and husband Richard, Albuquerque, N.M., and Gary McLarry and wife Vicki of Mead; grandchildren Troy Grimes and wife Marcie, Albuquerque, Travis Grimes, Albuquerque, Trent Grimes of Lubbock, Texas, Quentin McLarry and wife Ashley, Mead, Rebecca McLarry Kennon and husband David, Durant, and Sarah McLarry, Durant; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Robert McLarry in 1990.

A loving wife and mother, she moved to Santa Fe, N.M., from Durant in 1959 and worked as a bookkeeper for the NEA of New Mexico and was a secretary in the Public Schools of Jemez Springs, N.M., Lake Arthur, N.M., and Crownpoint, N.M. Retiring with her husband in 1985 she returned to Santa Fe, then moved to Albuquerque in 1991.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2004, at 3 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.

McGee Memorial Chapel Mortuary is handling arrangements.
