Council Member Randall Gorman said an exact dollar amount had not been figured, but he estimated the town will save $35,000-$50,000 per year.
All council members but Mayor Virginia Parrish voted to hire Jack Shackelford, Pottsboro, Texas, as public works director at a $17.00 per hour salary which will add up to about $35,000 per year.
