She was born June 17, 1934, in Farley, N.M., to Claude Everett and Sara Loretta (Browder) Tarris. She attended and graduated Claypool schools and worked in healthcare as a nutritionist. She retired from the OSU Bryan County Extension Office, where she worked as a nutritionist many years. She loved church and attended until she was no longer able. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son Keith Marshall, Howe, Texas; daughter Robin Ford and husband Fred, Mead; grandchildren Bryant Marshall, Heather Marshall, Brianna Marshall, Carrie Robison and Skyler Ford; great-grandchildren Makenzie Marshall, Karissa Marshall, Daelyn Marshall and Ryan Robison, many loving cousins and a number of dear friends.
Her register book is in the front lobby at Brown's Funeral Service for those who wish to pay respect.
Cremation took place at Texoma Cremation Service at Brown's Funeral Service, Durant.
