DURANT - Wal-Mart Supercenter will be hosting a blood drive to benefit Benny Rose 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Southern Oklahoma Blood Institute's (OBI) Bloodmobile on the north side of the Wal-Mart parking lot.
Rose continues to need blood amid a very low state-wide supply, according to OBI officials.
"We'd like to encourage the community to come support our blood drive and help Benny," said Gail McClain, Durant Wal-Mart blood drive chairperson. "All units donated on Saturday will be credited to him unless a donor requests otherwise," Ms. McClain added.
