Donald Ray Thornton, 50, was charged Tuesday with child sexual abuse and sexual battery.
Authorities began investigating Thornton when a woman told Deputy Butch Boucher she had been sexually abused from 2000 to July of this year.
An affidavit by District Attorney Investigator Sam Hernandez states the woman disclosed the abuse began when she was 15 years old.
