A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Bokchito, for James Marshall Robinson, 82, Bokchito, who died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Rev. Jackie Robinson will officiate.

He was born Monday, July 24, 1922, in Roberta to Samuel Byrd Robinson and Nancy Alice Vaughn. He married Beulah Mae Mock July 31, 1948, in Denison, Texas. He was a farmer and rancher most of his life. He was a member of the VFW, Bokchito chapter, and served on the school board for several years. He is a member of the First Baptist Church, Bokchito, where he has served as deacon. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1942-1945 with the 61st Bombardment Squadron. He enjoyed playing dominoes, drinking coffee and visiting with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ollie Robinson, Ernie Robinson, Luie Robinson and Clyde Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of the home; daughter Linda D. Ingram and husband James "Mickey," Bokchito; sons James Michael Robinson and wife Sherry, Bokchito, and Gary Ray Robinson and wife Kim, Bokchito; granddaughter Sherrie D. McGee and husband Jim, Bokchito; grandsons James Timothy Robinson, Bokchito, and Michael Shawn Robinson, Mead; granddaughters Shana Elizabeth Rose and husband T.J., Caddo, and Ashley Nicole Robinson and Jerret Beagle, Bokchito; grandson Daylan Shane Robinson, Mead; great-granddaughter Taylor Nicole Robinson, Atoka; great-grandsons James Tristan Robinson, Michael Trip Robinson, Trent Wayne Robinson, all of Atoka; great-granddaughter Whitney Dee McGee, Bokchito, and Karlie Mitchell Beagle, Bokchito; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Highland Cemetery with pallbearers Max Robinson, Larry Robinson, Dean Robinson, David Robinson, Clyde Robinson and Aubry Lee Simmons.

Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
