A service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Dalton-Holmes Funeral Chapel for Katie Elaine Hunnicutt, 74, Durant, who died Saturday, July 30, 2005, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Bro. Ray Mayhue will officiate.

She was born Thursday Sept. 25, 1930, in Caddo to Cal Jackson and Mary Ella Owens. She was a bookkeeper and managed Arrowhead Lodge for Choctaw Nation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mozelle Price and brother J.T. Jackson.

She was survived by son Robert C. Hunnicutt and wife Kathleen, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren Jennifer Phillingaes, Florida, Justin Hunnicutt, Illinois, and Jesslyn Hunnicutt, C.J. Hunnicutt and Jackson Hunnicutt, all of Phoenix; sisters Emogene Smith and Lucille Brimage, both of Durant; brother Otis Jackson and wife Pat, Purcell; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Caddo.

Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
