Services for Donald L. Kinnett, 72, Durant, who passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Brown's Funeral Chapel. Rev. Fred Waldrep will officiate.

Donald was born April 11, 1933 in Maud to Lester and Edith (Staggs) Kinnett. Donald lived in Oklahoma all his life and attended school in Durant. He was employed in delivery and sales for Texoma Drug Sales. Donald was a member of the Elks Lodge and of the Baptist faith. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Edith Kinnett, and his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Callan Kinnett, of the home; son, Anthony Kinnett, Frisco, Texas; daughters, Christy Lynn, Durant, and Victoria Jernigan, Eureka, Calif.; numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

Family hour has been scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday.

Interment will be in Highland Cemetery with Carroll Roberts, Robert Swink, Sam Cottrell, John Roberts, Woodrow Walker and Bill Pierot serving as pallbearers.
